Vote (Art) By Mail

Create a work of art that answer the questions: "what does Voting mean to you? what are you Voting for? What would you like to see changed?" Then mail it to Jason Brown. This project also serves as a way to support the US Postal Service.

  • Participation is FREE and encourage from around the world
  • Technique is FREE - painting, drawing, collage, mixed media, photographs, 3 D objects, etc.

After being closed due to tornado damage, contractor-repair failure, COVID, Silver Sands’ Sophia Vaughn, the third generation owner of the restaurant located in Hope Garden, announced that Silver Sands is back and better than ever.  Social media lists hours as Tuesday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you've been then you know, if you haven't been you better find out.

Take a break from 2020 and enjoy nature with Fat Bear Week. For those who don't know, it’s an annual voting tournament of bears getting ready to hibernate in Alaska’s Katmai National Park and Preserve (@katmainpp).
